I agree with you professor Thiam, I haven't always been attending classes like I should have but I'm committed to speak fluently wolof to my children when I'll have them; in other words if I fail i'll blame you rétaane !
Anyways, like I said I'll be here regularly at least for the next 3 months as long as you respect your part of the deal respect ! I'm open to 2 options, we can chat in english here and then you can PM me for particular stuff and vice-versa for my wolof (there are too many students in the general wolof-learning forum to be adequately tutored).
So where do you wanna start? I know you like talking rétaane so let me ask you a couple of questions...

How was your day? What did you do today? How was the weather where you live? What did you eat? What are your plans for the rest of the day? What are you doing this week-end?
What do you think about the new PM Souleymane Ndene Ndiaye? What do you know about him? How does he compare with the former PM Hadjibou Soumare? How do you feel about Karim Wade being in the new government? How would you describe the socio-political climate in Senegal right now? Are you satisfied with it, why or why not? What are your suggestions for improvements? (I'm not really qualified to talk about politics especially in Senegal... so the point is not really the content of your opinions but more how you express them... just so nobody gets upset ).
Have fun with those questions:yi: and have a nice day Victoire

Post Scriptum you should say I don't have any choice or I have no other choice or I have no choice.

I'm glad hearing you saying that you will try to be more present here Embarassed ! But, I'm astonished for you accepting all of your class missings rétaane ! Hope that's a solid decision of you ! I'm agree with you, so I note that the part of deal in red is specially called by you for making a dark strategy. Maybe you need talking on Private Box, not me rétaane ! But I'm perfectly okay for the proposition. I can't propose better. I just complete it by adding another point. We can create a "dual" topic for exclusive dialogue "YOU, SWEET SASI and ME, STUPID BABEL" Grithia !
Sasi a écrit:So where do you wanna start? I know you like talking rétaane so let me ask you a couple of questions...
I'm longly thinking that a couple of something means two parts of this one. According to the suite of your paragraph, it's more than a couple... rétaane !

Okay, now let's go rétaane Victoire !
Today, I do nothing. It's the international day of "work" rétaane
The weather in Dakar, where I live, is bad pale . A lot of sun shining What a Face . Very hot in Dakar, too tropical I thing Wink .
I don't have any special plans. All I get on may planning day is to be correctly reposed. I reach this aim (goal) because since 7 O'clock I just leave the bed for (by???) two ways Ehey .
That will be the same for the week end too. R.A.S Embarassed ! Nothing on view !

For our new Prime Minister Sir Souleymane Ndéné NDIAYE, I can say that he is not the best man in the place. I spent three years (scolaries) in the Ndéné's hometown: Guinguineo. This choice can be the best for WADE so, it also can be the worst one. So Ndéné is included in a problem of detournment. A french couple spent arround 50.000.000 Fcfa in the "Margueritte project" for a school construction. Ndéné does nothing in Guinguineo Wink . The state of the road from Baksambadior to Guinguineo prouve this. It's bad, very bad, the worst road I take all of the Sénégal... !

Now for comparaison with Aguibou, I think that all they have some "plus" and "manos" points. Haguibou is not a politician, he can work for Sénégal but not for WADE. And WADE needs someone who can update the PDS'level. For this, Ndéné is not the best, so he can do more usefully than SOUMARE who work's like blind man Wink on mute position Ehey .

Karim never leave governement. It was just something like official pretention, but he always "works" (???) in the governement. However he does, his ICONA does more than many ministeries allowed tasks do. Many of contructions in Dakar are supervised by his Agency in depend of the required Ministries'programm like Road and Infrastructures Minister or the older Agncy of Road Word ATRR and APIX. I will back for the rest ré ! I am tooooooo tired... !

Hey sama prof! Ok I'll first start by correcting your post then answer...
Hello Sasi, Dear Sasi or Sweet Sasi Grithia !
I'm glad hearing you saying that you will try to be more present here Embarassed ! But, I'm astonished for you accepting all of your class missings rétaane
! Hope that's a solid decision of you ! So don't worry for your futures
children, I will do some learing-stting for them if you just pay the

arrounded awakes Ehey ! I"ll seriously take your sweet babies care Embarassed inch'God != I'm glad hearing you saying that you will try to be more present here Embarassed ! But, I'm surprised that you are admitting to missing class that much! Hope that's a firm decision of you ! So don't worry for your future
children, I will do some learing-stting for them if you just pay the
right fee (fee is a better word... for a product you pay a price, for a service you pay a fee) for this. Like an go-back ticket Dakar-Paris-Dakar,
luxurious hotel reservation for one year during and car for my
arrounded awakes ?????Ehey ! I"ll seriously take good care of your sweet babies Embarassed inch'God

LOL thanks for agreeing to help me too... I actually don't live in Paris unfortunately...LOL.
But I'm perfectly okay for the proposition. I can't propose better. I
just add another point. We can create a "dual" topic
for exclusive dialogue "YOU, SWEET SASI and ME, STUPID BABEL" Grithia !

That would actually work for me..... LOL
I'm longly (what do you mean by "longly"?) thinking that a couple of something means two parts of this
one. According to the suite of your paragraph, it's more than a
couple... rétaane !Yes you are right but by sometimes english allows more flexibility and
if for example you are talking about several things (let's say you
don't remember how many) you can say a couple... but technically you're
rightToday, I do nothing. It's the Labor Day (i wish it was labord day here too... it's finals' week for me pale )
The weather in Dakar, where I live, is bad pale (why bad???? I like sun!... better than cold bounce ). A lot of sunshineWhat a Face . Very hot in Dakar, too tropical I think Wink .I
don't have any special plans. All I'm just planning to adequately/completely rest. I reach this aim (goal) because since 7 O'clock I
just leave the bed for (by???) two ways = what do you mean? Ehey Are you trying to say that you have been up since 7am?
That will be the same for the week end too. R.A.S Embarassed

Good job so far...
For
our new Prime Minister Sir Souleymane Ndéné NDIAYE, I can say that he
is not the best man for this position. I spent three years (academic) in
the Ndéné's hometown: Guinguineo. This choice can be the best for WADE
so, it also can be the worst one. So Ndéné is involved in an embezzelment scandal. A french couple spent around 50.000.000 Fcfa in the
"Margueritte project" for building a school. Ndéné does nothing in
Guinguineo Wink
. The state of the road from Baksambadior to Guinguineo proves this.
It's bad, very bad, the worst road I take in all of the Sénégal... !Now
for comparaison with Aguibou, I think that all they have some "pluses"
and "minuses" . Haguibou is not a politician, he can work for
Sénégal but not for WADE. And WADE needs someone who can update (do you mean improve or keep the president's aware of the senegalese people's reality?) the
PDS'level. For this, Ndéné is not the best, so he can be more usefully
than SOUMARE who works like a blind man Wink on mute mode Ehey .

Karim
never left (??) the governement. It was just something like official
pretention (??? introduction?), but he has always "worked" (???) in the governement. No matter what he
does, his ICONA (??? ANOCI?) does more than many ministeries are allowed to do. Many
of contructions in Dakar are supervised by his Agency depending on the projects that have been planned by the various ministries (actually "departments" is a better word for that) like Road and Infrastructures Minister or
the older Agncy of Road Word ATRR and APIX. I will back for the rest ré ! I am tooooooo tired... !

Hope you are well rested. I have opinions of my own concerning politics but that's probably not the right (at least for me to debate about them).
Your english is pretty good... just a few things but that comes with time and practice...
I wish it was as warm here as it is where you are... Like I said it's exam week for me so not much time to rest really but it's all going to be over next week.
I really thought you were a player and would have your week-end filled with things to do and girls to visit but obviously you don't have much going on... monkey

Yup, for the week end, this one particularly, I have no solid programm for chilling and doing something very interested.

Anyway, I had a little Two hours of which I do some unreligious things for decrompressed ré Inevitable Grithia !

Okay, now I see that we are on a good way, no, not simply good but the best... I feel under skin that it will be gone better then before for me and my english.

So what about Wolof?

So I guess anything specific, translation or whatever... let me know! This week is exam week for me but I'll try to stop by as much as I can at least once a day... because I really need to improve my wolof too.

Embarassed I am seeing you online, so let's go for a new marathon rétaane !

Marathon? I know you are probably faster than I am.... at least your connection is probably faster than my connection which is just getting on my last nerves Evil or Very Mad
Yup, for the week end, this one particularly, I have no specific plans for chilling or doing anything interesting.
Anyway, I had a little Two hours during which I did some unreligious things in order to decompress ré Inevitable Grithia !

Okay,
now I see that we are on the right way/path, no, not simply good but the
best... I feel under skin ????? (what did u mean, literally?) that it will be gone better then before for
me and my english = I feel that it'll go better than before for me and my english.

I told u I was going to be faithful and follow through on my promise!
So what about Wolof?

Oh my God, I forgot completly (completely forgot = the adverb comes after the subject and before the complement d'objet direct... i forgot the correct term for complement d'objet direct in english...sorry) my proposition for the Dual courses strategy Embarassed !
E.G: Extract our dialogue to a simple one topic on which just me and you will have to put posts...

I'm still waiting for that thread... it actually sounds good so I can have my personal wolof tutoring!
Ok, I am going to work on this task ! Victoire !

You'd better! I have been waiting and I see nothing else but empty promises... ré

Hi Thiamaass,

I offer my humble services too...

Hello Sasi.. My sweet Sasi I am glad to be back (re-back??? -> back again ) !

I left you for a long time, I am really confused for this (confuse c'est un faux ami et ca veut dire s'embrouiller les idees, ne pas etre clair dans sa tete je tiens juste a preciser car il y a un autre sens en fr) ! So I apologize...

You know, english is really difficult for me... ! I have (manque the) motivation, (the) tonus and all needed to very nicely begin (inversion car les adj qui qualifient se placent toujours en amont )very nicely my courses but I am like under stone, under concrete (je comprends ce que tu veux dire mais je n'ai jamais entendu cette expression, generalement on utilise under water (sous l eau) ou bien snowed under (litt sous un tas de neige) ou bien aussi under mais cela fait plus language courant alors que les 2 precedents sont utilisable en milieu pro) ... It's going very hard (structure utilise c'est going to + verb (I am going to try = damay jeem = je vais essayer donc il te manque be pr dire it's going to be very hard = cela va etre tres difficile) !
I don't know what else (man gemmna ni lu tax nga beuggon wax = I don't know why ) is it so hard fr (for) me ! I need help I really need help ... !

Well, so, in anoter registe (traduction litt ne fonctionne pas ici donc sur un autre registre va plutot donne = also mais j'enleverrais well et so car well c'est plus parle qu'ecrit pour traduire bien et aussi en fait et so = alors) we have to talk about wolof (voulais tu dire parler du wolof ou en wolof ? ... Now let's go... Softly (softly ca se rapporte plus a tendrement, ici il faudrait slowly = ndank ndank )we gonna (je proposerais d'ecrire en anglais classique pour etre sur des erreurs afin de les corriger car la structure serait we are going to qui se contracte au parle en we're gonna donc la je suis pas clair s'il ya erreur ou pas) find a veritable (true c'est mieux la car je suis pas sur que veritable existe en ang en tout cas je ne l'ai jamais entendu) and sure formula for courses establishment (je dirais for our courses establishment ou plus anglais je crois serait de dire to plan our courses)...

I hope that this little will help and please feel free to come back, should you have any questions. I am glad to be able to help for once as I am still struggling to learn wolof Smile

My pleasure = formule de politesse pour dire "Tout le plaisir est pour moi"

Small correction while I am at it (while I am at it = pendant que j y suis)

I will be back on this to learn it correctly

Also if you have any idea for me to help more efficiently please let me know. If you have some grammar points that you do not perfectly understand or anything else, just yell.

yell = litt crier mais just yell c'est une expression pour dire "Il suffit de demander"

Salam

Nonetheless what Thiamaass needs are accelerated pidgin lessons, not english lessons.

He is travelling soon to Nigeria for a biz-sexual trip.

In Nigeria pidgin is the vernacular widely spoken language.
Pidgin is like a lingua franca spoken by all communities, be it yorubaphone, haoussaphone, whatever.

I suggest you listen and translate Fela Kuti....
